PTA Leadership - Willing to Serve

The HCE PTA is in the process of seeking new leadership for the 2013-14 school year. If you would like a hands-on role in shaping your children’s education, please complete the attached “Willingness to Serve” form attached below and submit it to the school or email it to Melinda McCabe at mmccabe3@uncc.edu by Friday, March 22, 2013.
 
The elected PTA Officers for the 2013-2014 school year can be found on the website (http://hcepta.org/content/elected-officers). All of these positions are one-year terms, effective July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014.
 
Even if you do not feel like you have directly-related experience with any of these positions, but still possess any of the skills, please submit your “Willingness to Serve” form.  You do not have to be a current PTA board member to apply.  All applications will be equally considered and training will be provided.

Volunteers Needed for Father-Daughter Dance

We are still looking for volunteers to help plan as well as volunteers during the event. Interested moms and dads can email Kristy Perry at events@hcepta.org Remember to mark March 23 on your calendars for the dance!!

March Spirit Rock Sign Ups

March Sign Ups are Open Now!

Celebrate your child or granchild by reserving one of our spirit rocks. The rocks which stand at the entrances to Highland Creek Elementary, are available for painting happy birthday and messages of congratulations or well-wishes. The rock can be reserved by PTA members by completing the Car Rider Rock or Bus Rider Rock application available online.
All moneys raised from the use of the spirit rock will go to the 5th grade celebration and the general PTA budget. For additional details please go to link HCE Spirit Rock Guidelines.
